In developing “OKOMETO,” Morinaga & Co.’s first plant-based milk ice cream*1 that uses rice, we wanted to hear opinions from a variety of perspectives, so we worked with rice flour cooks, rice flour snacks researchers, and parents of children with food allergies who we recruited from our fan site. We created an ice cream that is particular about its deliciousness, using rice milk and rice flour made from familiar domestic rice, and does not contain 28 allergens*2, including animal ingredients, milk, eggs, and soybeans.
*1 This is not a dairy product.
*2 Of the eight specified raw materials, this product is manufactured in facilities that also manufacture products containing milk, eggs, and wheat.
We are not aware of any shared facilities producing the 20 items deemed to be similar to specific raw materials.
