Kirin Brewery Company, Ltd., a leading player in the beverage industry, will launch a new brand of low-alcohol RTD (ready-to-drink) beverages called “Kirin Hanayoi” with three flavors: “Kirin Hanayoi White Peach Sparkling,” “Kirin Hanayoi Lemon Sparkling,” and “Kirin Hanayoi Grape Sparkling” (350ml cans) nationwide on Tuesday, September 24.
In recent years, shifting values due to changes in lifestyle and work habits, along with growing interest in responsible drinking, have revealed that there are approximately 30 million people in the market who enjoy alcohol but rarely drink RTD beverages at home. While many customers are consciously mindful of not drinking too much, there is also a clear desire to enjoy alcohol casually, with many believing that moderate consumption can enrich life.
With the launch of the “Kirin Hanayoi” brand, Kirin aims to meet the needs of these consumers and offer a new way to enjoy alcohol, making moments with a drink more accessible and enjoyable.
The newly launched “Kirin Hanayoi White Peach Sparkling,” “Kirin Hanayoi Lemon Sparkling,” and “Kirin Hanayoi Grape Sparkling” utilize a hidden touch of “fruit maceration liquor,” which is created by crushing frozen fruit into alcohol and steeping it with fruit juice to capture the full flavor and aroma of the fruit. This secret ingredient harmonizes the rich fruit flavors with the alcohol base, delivering a taste that is full of fruitiness and a pleasant balance of alcohol, even at an ALC. 3% level. This fruit sparkling drink offers a light, refreshing taste and a sense of uplifting freedom.
